You have no idea how often you come across my mind, just the thought of you makes the butterflies in my stomach go wild. I look forward to talking to you all the time, whether it’s for five hours or five minutes, it’s still my favorite. You brighten up my days when nothing else is going right and you provide me comfort with your presence. You’re that someone who doesn’t need to make an effort to make me smile.

You know what shut the fuck up. I only told you who I like, I didn’t ask for your opinion. Sure he’s not all looks, but you know what? He’s got a fine ass personality and a great sense of humor. I really don’t care if he’s not all looks, his personality gives him a thumbs up. At least respect who I like and the shit I do.

I don’t think I’m ready for a relationship. I am not ready, I don’t know what I want, and I’m too busy for that kind of stuff. I thought long and hard about it, and I just don’t think I’m ready for that additional stress. I’m not saying relationships are stressful, but it’d be hard for me to keep up with because of school, friends, etc. I want to be really sure about the guy I’m going to be with and not go just for looks or cuteness and whatnot.
Although it can be a bit lonesome, I enjoy the single life. Being with family and friends, and keeping myself busy will help time pass by quickly and maybe one unexpected day, I’ll come across him. But as for right now, I’ll go on little dates with a guy from time to time just for the heck of it— y’know have fun, converse, hang out, etc. But as for right now, I’m pretty sure I don’t need a boy to make me happy.
JC Penney’s new ad for Father’s Day
The text reads:
“First Pals: What makes Dad so cool? He’s the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver—all rolled into one. Or two.”
The text at the bottom reads: “Real-life dads, Todd Koch and Cooper Smith with their children Claire and Mason.”
